Therap Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Overview for Nebraska Providers

The Developmental Disabilities Division in Nebraska has chosen to make
Therap available for DD Agencies and Independent Providers to meet their EVV obligations under the Cures Act.

  • Production Ready for third-party EVV vendors: 11/13/2020
  • Registration date: 12/20/2020
  • Start date for DD waiver providers using Therap: 01/01/2021
  • EVV launch date: 01/03/2021
  • Start Date for Agency Providers with third-party EVV vendors: 01/03/2021

Why is EVV being implemented

What do I need to know?

Therap EVV is available for Nebraska providers to use at no cost. Within Therap you will receive your authorization, document EVV and send that data to Tellus to submit claims. You will continue to document and bill non-EVV services in Therap as you have been doing.
